120 miniature objects turn early phonics practice into a learning experience children can see, touch, hear, sort, and explore.
Instead of learning only from cards or worksheets, children connect spoken sounds with written letters through familiar objects they can hold and name.
Each object gives children a memorable word to associate with its corresponding letter sound.
Seeing, touching, naming, and sorting make abstract sounds more concrete and engaging.
Multiple matching, listening, sorting, and vocabulary activities grow with the learner.
As children select, name, listen, and match, they practice essential early-language skills in one purposeful activity.
Begin with just a few contrasting sounds, then add more drawers as confidence grows. No previous Montessori teaching experience is required.
Select one drawer or a small group of letter sounds for a focused activity.
Take out each miniature, say its name slowly, and listen for the featured sound.
Mix several objects and invite the child to return each one to the correct drawer.
Use the collection for guided lessons or independent exploration at home, in a homeschool space, or in the classroom.
No searching for miniature objects, creating labels, or assembling separate sound boxes.
Made with child-safe, food-grade materials, every component is thoughtfully selected for hands-on learning at home or in the classroom—giving parents and educators greater peace of mind.
Added protection against accidental mouthing: each miniature piece features a child-safe, non-transfer bitter coating designed to discourage young children from putting it in their mouths or swallowing it. The unpleasant taste adds an extra layer of protection, while the coating stays on the piece and does not transfer to skin during normal handling.
U/V and X/Y are paired in shared drawers. Most objects focus on beginning sounds; X uses the ending /ks/ sound. This set contains small miniature pieces, so adult supervision is required. The bitter coating is an additional deterrent only and does not replace supervision. Although made from food-grade materials, the pieces are not intended for chewing or consumption.
Every object named, sound identified, and drawer matched helps turn early phonics into a meaningful experience children can enjoy again and again.
